This project was a total renovation of a 3 story + basement historic row house. The plan is centered around a steel and glass stair. The floors are clear maple and walnut millwork was utilized for the kitchen cabinetry. Frosted glass panels help catch light and organize the plan on the third floor. The first floor contains a gallery space and separate living quarters. The stair was fabricated by Gronning Design + Manufacturing.

CARRIAGE HOUSE
Renovation of two early 20th century masonry carriage houses into a single residence. Gronning Architects provided architectural and construction services for this project. The residence features concrete floors, steel structural work, exposed masonry walls, stainless steel kitchen fixtures and over 200 sq. ft. of skylights.
