Gronning Architects was commissioned by Think Food Group/Jose Andres for their new Washington DC headquarters. This project included the complete renovation of 2 floors located in an historic structure. A large 2 story space with skylights functions as a communal work area with private office/meeting areas along the perimeter. The project also includes 3 research and development islands where new menu items are created for the multiple Jose Andres restaurants. Two custom tables and steel railings were fabricated by Gronning Design + Manufacturing.

This engineering and communications firm commissioned Gronning Architects to design their headquarters. The design is centered around an axis that leads to a conference room with large windows. This axis serves as an internal street that is articulated with dark volumes that contain storage and printing functions. There is a system of walnut millwork, fabricated by Gronning Design + Manufacturing.

This project utilizes mahogany and stainless steel cladding, granite, glass and aluminum as its building materials.
